How safe is it to shop on your site

We are members of Trusted Web Traders, which means our site has been accredited to be a secure site.

When will I receive my products?

We despatch your order as soon as your payment has been recieved.  Delivery may take up to 5 working days, but we usually deliver within 2-3 working days.

How do I pay for my goods?

Online payment by card is the most preferred.  However, payment may be made via the phone or cheque (payable to The Africa Market Place Ltd). Payment by cash is possible on delivery.  Please contact customer service for payment options.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, contact customer service 24hrs before delivery.

Can I alter my order?

Yes. Call customer service no later than 24hrs before you delivery date. A revised bill will be presented on delivery.

Can I return my order?

We aim to deliver product of the highest quality and longest shelf life,  however if you are not satisfied with your product, please contact customer service for a refund authorisation code.  You will incure the cost of P&P to us.  We may either replace the product or a cash refund.

Can I collect my order at your warehouse?


No. Due to the perishable nature of some of our products, we deliver straight from our supplies to your doorstep.

What will happen to my order if there is no one to receive my order?

We will call you 2hrs prior to arriving at your location. Deliveries may be made to working places or other specified locations.  If there is no contact at the delivery location, please contact cusotmer services to arrange another delivery time and date.  You will be recharged for delivery.

I am not certain about using my card online...how safe is my credit/debit card details?

Your card is processed by Paypal secure card prosessing service.  We do not store your card details.

How safe are my personal details?

We keep your personal details for identification and delivery purposes only. We will not disclose your personal infomation to any third party. You will receive No junk emails or posts from us.

Can I get a delivery on the weekend?
Yes, as long as your delivery address is in the UK, we  deliver to you at no extra. We deliver on both days on the wekend. Please note however that we will not deliver perishable items including fresh fish and meat on Sunday.
 What do I do if I want a product that is not featured on the website?
As per company policy, we endeavour to provide any product African. Send Harry an email via the CONTACT US section of the site and we will contact you to discuss your needs and how soon we can get the product(s) to you. Please bear in mind that such requests can take up to a month to deliver
